Sadness...
All prevailing sadness
A consuming madness
Monster in the night
Devil's advocate
Extinguishing the light
With no arms to hold you tight
It offers solace in the dark
Sparkling tears within your cup
Oh gaze upward lonely soul
Lest Heaven frown
And you perish
In your soft silken gown
